In two weeks we launch the IAM University of the Heart, dedicated to the direct experience of the physical-emotional-energetic-spiritual heart! Inspired by Hazrat Inayat Khan, Rumi, St. Francis, Walt Whitman, Shakespeare, and other great masters, saints and prophets who have demonstrated the love, harmony and beauty of an open heart, we have assembled a comprehensive curriculum to share the skills and insights that are necessary in the pursuit of illumination.
Here are the teachings and practices of the world’s great mystics in a post-graduate program. Students will receive a rigorous training that leads to spiritual illumination, and may receive a Master’s Degree in Theology (through our affiliation with Holos University) and, when we’re accredited, a degree in Applied Meditation directly from IAM-U.
The program is 50% online through the latest video conferencing and virtual classroom technology, and 50% in-residence on the east or west coast of the U.S. Beside your study and practice from home, you will join with your class for two 5-day group retreats, two 12-day residence intensives with Puran and Susanna Bair, one individual retreat, and monthly calls or video conference sessions with your mentor. Learn more here.
We’ve devised experiential tests that will demonstrate your ability to meditate effectively to the point that you can modify reality: establish a coherent heart rhythm that organizes your entire physical body and transmits peace into the environment; demonstrate the electromagnetic vibration that heals tissues; change the pH of water to purify it; feel the emotional state of a person at a distance; reduce violent crime in a distant city. These and other practical effects are the result of applied Heart Rhythm Meditation, the basis of we teach at IAM-U.
Join us on Saturday, September 4th, when the path of the heart will be presented in a free, day-long seminar featuring the founders of IAM, Puran and Susanna Bair, the President of IAM-U, Asatar Bair, members of the faculty and guest speakers. Meditation and music will be shared.
